This name is known to all the Lewis County’s residents!
They say that latest news spreads like an epidemic in this age of fully-developed mass media. So, it was not a matter of surprise for me to know that Lewis County’s resident Quinn F. McDonald became a household name, after her two-episode appearance on Jeopardy.

Quinn, winner of $ 21,600, admits that it is fun to become a popular personality in a small town. Pumped up after her appearance in the game show, Quinn recently enjoyed the first episode with her near and dear ones, at a viewing party. She followed it up by watching the second episode at her house.
Besides receiving second-looks from people, she is also signing autographs, accepting good remarks from strangers and posing for photographs!
With most people treating her like a celebrity these days, she is finding this experience very interesting. She has revealed that the arrival of sudden fame has made her old friends to get in touch with her via e-mail or Facebook.
Quinn’s stint in Jeopardy saw a lot of ups and downs, while she strived to be in contention during a neck-to-neck competition.
As per Quinn’s statements published in various tabloids, she found the questions asked in the second episode more difficult, but after seeing the game on television, she found them not as bad as she had imagined.
If we analyze her performance in the second episode, she began well by finishing with $6300, much larger amount than runner-ups’ $3200. However, the Double Jeopardy round rubbed bad luck on her, as she ended up at the third position with a total of $ 3700. Now her fate in the competition rested on the other’s contestants’ failure to answer the Final Jeopardy question, but it didn’t happen.
So she was eliminated, but not before earning a good deal of unanticipated fame!
