ESPN commentator in Jeopardy!
No, no! It’s not what you think!
Actually I’ll do this Jeopardy!-style and give you an answer.
Answer: She is an ESPN commentator and former WNBA player with Olympic Gold medal in women’s basketball.
Now all you gotta do is ask me the right question. Tick…. Tock…. Tick….. Tock
All right, all right!
Question: Who’s coming to Jeopardy! as part of the Million Dollar Celebrity Invitational, on the coming Thursday? Yes guys, you’ve guessed it right. Rebecca Lobo, the UConn basketball marvel (women) and currently seen as an ESPN reporter, will be participating in the celebrity tournament hosted by Jeopardy!
I know. It’s so great!
By the way, those of you who didn’t get what I did in the beginning of this piece, can download Jeopardy! from here and experience a part of American history.
Back to talking about Lobo:
She has chosen to donate her winnings from the show to St. Mary’s School. Awww… isn’t that sweet?
But it’s definitely not something new to the game show as the show does this on a monthly basis. Every month, three celebs race each other to raise funds for different causes. The winning amount for the finals to be given to the winner’s charity in May is a whopping $1 million!
But that doesn’t mean that the losers will go empty handed. Creators of Jeopardy! have ensured that even the loser gets something and that ‘something’ totals up to $25,000, which a guaranteed amount for participating. Also, the winner is guaranteed $50,000 after which he/she moves forward to the semifinals.
I know…it is a noble gesture, indeed.
So if you still haven’t managed a Jeopardy! download, then do it right this very minute. No time to lose!
So guys, are you ready to watch the basketball legend battle it out to get her charity a well deserved donation? I know I am.
Meanwhile actor and veteran comedian Cheech Marin reigned through this week’s semifinals. Because of this, Marin’s chosen charity will get $50,000, while he will move on to the next round. He crushed CNN journo Anderson Cooper and stand-up comedienne, Aisha Tyler.
So if you too wanna watch “The most nerve-wracking thing in show business”, then watch Jeopardy! online and bite your nails to shreds along with millions of Americans!
